Weydeland Cheese salad

A delicious Weydeland Cheese salad.


  • Two onions
  • Cucumber
  • 4 tomatoes
  • A small can of green peas
  • 300 gr ham in thick slices
  • 400 gr Weydeland Aged cheese
  • 1 dl yoghurt
  • 2 hardboiled eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Four tablespoons sunflower/olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove or some garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper


Clean the onions and cut them in fine circles. Wash the cucumber and cut it in squares. Peal the tomatoes and chop them up. Drain the green peas. Cut the Weydeland cheese and the ham in squares. Mix the yoghurt with the sour cream, oil, and garlic and add some salt and pepper for taste. Place the onions, cucumber, tomatoes, and green peas in a bowl. Mix everything and add the sauce. Leave the salad for half an hour at room temperature. Decorate the salad with the sliced eggs before serving. A delicious salad is ready.
